Position: Full-Time Ultrasound Transducer Engineer
Become a key player at Sonele Inc. as a full-time Ultrasound Transducer R&D Engineer in Markham, Ontario. Build, design, and optimize next-generation transducers while collaborating closely with diverse teams.

At Sonele Inc., the Ultrasound Transducer Engineer focuses on designing, simulating, and characterizing advanced transducers, working on single-element, linear, and 2D arrays. You will engage in acoustic stack design and FEM modeling, ensuring seamless design transfer with process engineering and electronics. Your involvement will span prototype building to documentation under ISO 13485 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create optimal acoustic/mechanical/electrical transducer designs

• Perform FEM/acoustic simulations using OnScale or COMSOL

• Oversee prototype builds and conduct detailed characterization

• Define specifications and contribute to validation documentation

• Collaborate with manufacturing on design for manufacturability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant engineering fields

• 3–7+ years in ultrasound transducer research

• Proficient in simulation tools like MATLAB and Python

• Hands-on prototype and characterization experience

• Strong communication skills for cross-functional teamwork
