As a Lead Engineer, you will be pivotal in mechanical component design and procurement support for nuclear equipment. Your expertise in ASME standards and CAD modeling will be essential, alongside your ability to manage projects and mentor junior engineers. Collaborating with cross-functional teams ensures adherence to business and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute design analysis for nuclear components
• Manage project staffing and performance development
• Develop ASME-compliant CAD models and documentation
• Maintain communication with project stakeholders
• Evaluate supplier options and assist in vendor selection
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years mechanical design experience
• 3 years in nuclear industry practices
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD
• Ability to obtain PEng. within 6 months
