Take on a vital role as a Building Condition Assessor II with BGIS, focusing on detailed asset assessments and operational support in building management. This full-time position requires strong technical skills.
You will leverage your expertise in building condition assessments to conduct thorough inspections and evaluations. With a degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience, your work will directly impact asset management and compliance with regulatory standards. Furthermore, you'll collaborate closely with multiple departments to ensure comprehensive assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct annual building condition assessments and inspections
• Develop asset assessment condition reports
• Lead and coordinate on-site assessment activities
• Provide detailed cost estimates for building system repairs
• Collaborate with management to ensure data accuracy
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or architecture field
• 3–5 years of practical experience required
• EIT or P.Eng enrollment is an asset
• Advanced understanding of cost estimating processes
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel 50-70%
