Position: ASIC Engineer for Security IP at AMD
Become an ASIC Engineer focused on Security IP at AMD, based in Markham or Ottawa, where you will enhance next-generation secure computing systems. Engage in both firmware development and hardware verification.

This position within the Security IP Team emphasizes co-verification for microprocessor subsystems in leading-edge SoCs. Qualified candidates must exhibit a proactive mindset and thrive in collaboration across teams, all while maintaining high attention to detail and innovative approaches to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop firmware for SoC secure boot and acceleration services

• Conduct hardware/firmware co-verification via UVM System Verilog

• Define verification architecture for CPU and IP subsystems

• Influence co-design through performance modeling

• Execute rigorous test plans with UVM and C-DPI

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in ASIC verification and design

• Proficient in multiple programming and scripting languages

• Deep knowledge of UVM and C-DPI methodologies

• Understanding of AXI/AHB communication protocols

• Bachelor’s in electrical or computer engineering required
