Expert Designer in Transportation Engineering

Join EXP as a Transportation Designer, where your expertise will impact Transit, Highway, and Municipal projects in Markham, Brampton, London, or Hamilton, ON. Lead efforts in road design and municipal infrastructure.

As a vital member of our Transportation team, you will leverage your experience in various projects, focusing on preparing detailed and preliminary drawings. Working under a Project Manager, you'll ensure project specifications meet client demands while coordinating with senior engineers and design staff. This role also emphasizes mentoring junior team members to foster growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare infrastructure design drawings

• Calculate quantities for cost estimates and tendering

• Coordinate with senior project engineers on designs

• Guarantee project deadlines are consistently met

• Mentor less experienced staff as needed

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer or E.I.T. with 3-8 years' experience

• Mandatory skills in Micro Station Connect and Project Wise

• Knowledgeable in drafting standards for MTO and Metrolinx

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
