This role requires problem-solving at the intersection of silicon, systems, and software while identifying display issues from both internal and external sources. You will develop debugging tools and processes as you work closely with cross-functional teams. Mentorship of junior engineers is a key aspect, along with technical documentation and customer support involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and isolate display issues at silicon level
• Develop silicon debug procedures and data collection tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system-level issues
• Document internal and customer-facing debugging processes
• Mentor junior engineers and guide customer support teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in ASIC work
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for tool development
• SOC system-level debugging experience
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
