Position: Electrical Designer for Energy Projects
Shape the future of energy as an Electrical and Controls Designer with WSP. Your expertise will support sustainable projects across Canada's energy sectors.

This role offers the chance to work collaboratively with other experts within the Energy & Process team while contributing to major facility designs and low-carbon initiatives. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design and a real desire to make an impact in climate solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create precise electrical diagrams and specifications

• Develop comprehensive packages for project approvals

• Engage in detailed evaluations of RFQs and contracts

• Supply technical direction to electrical contractors on site

• Work alongside different engineering teams for project alignment

Requirements:

• Diploma in electrical engineering or related field

• 5+ years in electrical design, particularly in consulting

• Experience with Power Generation Projects is required

• Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with 3D CADD

• Detail-oriented and solution-focused
