As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for creating CAD models and ensuring compliance with ASME standards in your designs. Your background in the nuclear industry will enable you to tackle intricate engineering challenges while working in a supportive, matrixed team environment. Leading smaller projects, you’ll contribute to performance metrics and communication with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate design concepts and drawings for nuclear components
• Validate engineering designs against program requirements
• Mentor junior engineers through collaborative efforts
• Conduct engineering calculations and evaluations
• Interface with project managers and procurement teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 5+ years in mechanical design and nuclear experience
• 3 years of ASME Section III design work
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD
• Eligibility for obtaining PEng. within 6 months
