In this senior role, you will manage technical licensing work scopes, particularly with the BWRX-300 Advanced Nuclear Project. Your responsibilities will include engaging with the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) on regulatory reviews and preparing essential safety analysis reports. A strong focus on civil structural design and seismic/geotechnical analyses is crucial for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete technical licensing works for Canada’s nuclear projects
• Participate in CNSC regulatory review processes
• Prepare Preliminary, Pre-Operational, and Final Safety Analysis Reports
• Conduct presentations for CNSC staff on licensing matters
• Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries
Requirements:
• Bachelor's/Master's in science or engineering
• Minimum 5-7 years in nuclear safety evaluations
• Experience in civil design and geotechnical analyses
• Proven record with complex projects and regulatory guidance
• Eligibility to work in Canada under U.S. Export Control Laws
