Join Pye-Barker Fire & Safety as an Experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer. Design and coordinate essential safety systems while working within a collaborative team environment.
This role involves applying engineering principles to the layout design of fire sprinkler systems across various structures. You will communicate effectively with project managers and engineers to ensure that all designs meet local and NFPA codes. Your expertise in AutoCAD and hydraulic calculations will guide your design choices and impact client safety directly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and layout fire sprinkler systems per standards
• Analyze technical drawings and site conditions
• Perform hydraulic calculations and evaluate system designs
• Coordinate with production teams on installation
• Assist in proposal and technical document preparation
Requirements:
• 3+ years in fire sprinkler systems design
• Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk software
• NICET certification (Level II or higher) preferred
• Strong foundation in mathematics and physics
• Capable of site assessment tasks
