The Boeing Company is looking for a Systems Safety Engineer in Long Beach, CA, focused on integrating safety across various engineering disciplines. This position welcomes both Associate and Mid-Level candidates.
Join the Commercial Engineering Safety Team at Boeing as a Systems Safety Engineer, where your primary focus will be on analyzing safety at the airplane and system levels. This role requires collaboration on safety assessments, integration techniques, and safety advocacy to ensure airworthiness across Boeing systems. You will also have input on certification strategies and global safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough safety analysis for aircraft systems
• Develop safety documentation and compliance measures
• Support safety advocacy strategies and training initiatives
• Analyse and validate safety processes systematically
• Assist in certification development for safety issues
Requirements:
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Level 2: 2+ years related experience required
• Level 3: 5+ years related experience required
• Knowledge of system safety analysis techniques
• Ability to communicate effectively in teams
