Join the WSP Energy & Process team as a Controls Designer. Your experience in electrical design will play a key role in developing low-carbon energy initiatives and major infrastructure.

As an Electrical and Controls Designer at WSP, you’ll leverage over five years of electrical design experience. You will create detailed electrical drawing packages, transform P&IDs into clear specifications, and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines. Your contributions will directly support complex industrial projects and promote climate adaptation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transform P&IDs into clear electrical specifications

• Create comprehensive electrical drawing packages

• Mark up vendor drawings to ensure project compliance

• Provide field support to resolve construction issues

• Collaborate with mechanical and civil teams

Requirements:

• Technical diploma in a related engineering field

• Minimum of 5 years in electrical design within consulting

• Familiarity with oil & gas or energy transition projects

• Advanced skills in AutoCAD and 3D CADD tools

• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced settings
