Umicore is seeking a qualified Analytical Laboratory Professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science Engineering. You will leverage your 5 years of experience in industrial nonferrous metal processing to enhance product performance, provide customer support, and lead improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include sample preparation, data analysis, and coordination for new projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for product performance inquiries
• Lead customer complaint investigations and process improvements
• Conduct sample preparation and testing for metallography
• Prepare and issue Certificates of Compliance and Analysis
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial settings
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with WHMIS and safety protocols
• Ability to work autonomously and in teams
