Join the team at Black & Veatch as a Senior Electrical Project Engineer in Markham, ON, focusing on advanced substation design and team mentorship. Lead projects up to 765 kV and ensure quality deliverables.
In this senior role, you’ll provide technical expertise and project coordination on a range of electrical substations. Support both the design process and the professional growth of junior engineers as you communicate with clients and manage project specifications. Your contributions will directly impact project delivery and success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee detailed designs for high voltage substations
• Develop yard layout plans and grounding designs
• Conduct quality reviews of design packages
• Guide junior team members in best practices
• Present project activities to clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of related work experience
• Active P.Eng registration for engineer-of-record
• Experience with QA/QC reviews in substation projects
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office
Lead innovative projects at Black & Veatch and excel in electrical engineering.
