This position at Stratolaunch requires a Principal-level Engineer focusing on the design, integration, and testing of rocket propulsion systems for the Talon-A aircraft. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development and integration of propulsion systems
• Conduct analysis and testing of mechanical assemblies
• Create engineering documents and drawings for new designs
• Track propulsion component inventory and configurations
• Ensure communication with the Propulsion Lead
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with 20+ years of engineering experience
• Extensive proficiency in 3D CAD and stress analysis
• Proven experience in leading complex aerospace projects
• Proficient in fluid subsystem design and rocket testing
• Ability to adapt to changing project priorities
