As a part of the Guidance, Navigation, and Control Team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and implementing navigation systems to improve air transportation safety. Your expertise in algorithm development and sensor technologies will make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish navigation system requirements with partners
• Evaluate sensor technologies for navigation systems
• Model sensors for system performance assessments
• Develop estimation algorithms for flight applications
• Conduct compliance testing with leading industry standards
Requirements:
• BS in aerospace engineering or similar degree
• 3+ years of developing navigation algorithms
• Experience in C/C++ and Python for flight software
• Knowledge in Kalman filtering or GPS-denied navigation
• Effective communication skills in engineering contexts
