Join Guardant Health as an Automation Service Engineer II, enhancing laboratory automation systems across multiple locations. Your technical skills will ensure seamless operations in a hybrid model.
This role requires a combination of hands-on equipment installation and preventative maintenance, catering to operations at Guardant Health’s labs. With a background in engineering and 3-5 years of experience in laboratory support, you'll address service requests and provide training for junior engineers. You will also actively drive equipment improvements and contribute to cross-functional project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and perform operational qualifications of lab equipment
• Resolve service requests and provide tier 1 support
• Conduct preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis
• Author or revise standard operating procedures
• Monitor and enhance instrument performance metrics
Requirements:
• BS in scientific discipline or equivalent
• 3-5+ years service/support experience in labs
• Experience with laboratory equipment and automation systems
• Proficient in documentation practices
• Strong skills in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma preferred
