Stratolaunch aims to fill an Avionics Engineer position in Mojave, CA, supporting the design and integration of autonomous flight safety systems. You will work on developing and testing advanced FTS and AFSS while collaborating closely with industry professionals. Your aerospace background and technical leadership will be key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement subsystem-level testing for FTS and AFSS
• Work with range safety on FTS documentation review
• Design and build AFSS hardware for testing
• Participate in flight test planning for Stratolaunch models
• Collaborate to define technical requirements for flight safety
Requirements:
• Familiarity with avionics system design and integration
• Experience in risk assessment and technical documentation
• Proven ability to lead projects and communicate effectively
• Aptitude for adapting to changing project needs
• DoW security clearance eligibility required
