Position: Electrical Designer for Transportation Projects
Join Stantec as an Electrical Designer in Markham, Ontario, focusing on transformative transportation infrastructure projects. You'll design electrical systems for various transit applications, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.

This full-time role entails collaborating with a multi-discipline team to execute electrification projects for transportation and transit systems. The successful candidate will work closely with Senior Electrical Engineers, applying best practices to deliver innovative electrical design solutions across diverse infrastructure projects, including EV charging stations and public transit network electrification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility studies for transit electrification

• Design electrical substations and charging stations

• Prepare engineering drawings and specifications

• Perform lighting calculations with AGi
32 and AutoLUX

• Liaise with stakeholders on project requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology

• Minimum five years of electrical design experience

• Proficient in AutoCAD and ETAP

• Expertise in safety codes and regulations

• Strong communication and organizational skills
