Senior Traffic Engineer

Egis is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to support multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. This role requires 7–15 years of experience in transportation engineering within a consulting environment. You will lead transportation studies and apply your skills in traffic modelling, project coordination, and mentoring while collaborating with a diverse team focused on municipal transportation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct multi-modal transportation studies and assessments
• Lead traffic operations and safety studies across projects
• Prepare and draft municipal transportation plans and proposals
• Mentor and oversee junior staff in traffic engineering tasks
• Engage with clients and stakeholders during meetings
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
• 7-15 years of consulting experience in transport engineering
• Proficiency in traffic modelling software such as VISSIM
• Familiarity with Ontario municipal guidelines
