Co-op Engineering Internship in Transportation

The Transportation team at RVA invites eligible students for a Fall 2026 Co-op position. As a Civil Engineering student, you will participate in creating designs for transportation infrastructure, assist with AutoCAD preparations, and contribute to construction support. This role emphasizes hands-on learning in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pre-engineering site surveys and inspections

• Assist with the design of sewers, roads, and rail infrastructure

• Help prepare detailed AutoCAD and Micro Station drawings

• Provide assistance during the construction phase of projects

• Perform traffic analysis and site visits

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a civil engineering program at an accredited institution

• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Micro Station/AutoTURN is beneficial

• Must possess a valid G Class Driver's License

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
