Position: Controls Estimator II at Trane Technologies
Join Trane Technologies as a Controls Estimator II in Markham, Ontario, or Laval, Québec. Contribute to HVAC Controls projects by providing detailed estimates and collaborating with building owners.

In this integral role, you will support Account Managers by developing accurate cost estimates for HVAC Controls projects, focusing on energy efficiency. With a background in engineering or construction management and significant relevant experience, you will help determine pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed cost estimates including system sketches

• Develop project scope based on design-build plans

• Hold pre-bid meetings with Account Managers

• Identify cost-saving opportunities for various projects

• Optimize job costs through vendor negotiations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or related field with 3-5 years’ estimating experience

• Proven experience with HVAC Controls and Automation

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
