What is the role?
As a Land Development Engineer at LEA, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and delivery of land development and municipal infrastructure projects across Ontario.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with land development consulting experience, strong project management capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions while building lasting client relationships. In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include:
Project Management
  • Oversee the delivery of Land Development from design to construction as a Project Engineer/Project Manager.
  • Develop project plans by defining project timelines, creating schedules, and cost estimates, and overseeing project progress to make sure deliverables are met on time within the scope and budget, for both internal multi-disciplinary teams and sub-consultants.
  • Coordinate with the design team and sector leads, Project Managers, with schedules and day-to-day project management tasks.
  • Liaise with other departments and sub-consultants in coordinating technical aspects of the work under the direction of a Senior Engineer/Senior Project Manager.
  • Manage project teams of designers and technicians.
  • Assist in developing project specifications and cost estimates.
Engineering & Technical Design
  • Prepare technical drawings and reports for various projects, including Stormwater Management, Functional Servicing, Municipal Watermain and Sewers (Storm and Sanitary), Site Grading/Servicing, Drainage plans, Roads, Utilities, and Transit projects.
