Civil Engineer - Water and Wastewater

Become a vital part of Black & Veatch's team in Markham, Ontario as a Civil Engineer specializing in water applications. This full-time role offers exciting project leadership opportunities.

You will take on responsibilities related to large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This includes leading design phases, preparing technical documentation, and coordinating project schedules and budgets. You’ll also play a role in business development and proposal preparation, ensuring compliance with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee design work from concept through project completion

• Manage budgets and project timelines effectively

• Collaborate directly with clients and sub-consultants

• Contribute to business growth through proposal preparation

• Guide and mentor junior engineering staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering

• Active pursuit or possession of P.Eng licensure

• In-depth knowledge of water and wastewater design

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
