As part of Stantec's Smart(ER) Mobility team, you will be responsible for leading projects in Intelligent Transportation Systems with a strong background of at least 5 years. You will evaluate and design various ITS components, while mentoring junior engineers in best practices and compliance. This position is pivotal in shaping the future of urban transport solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design intelligent traffic-management systems and components
• Execute thorough feasibility and cost-benefit studies
• Work with teams to integrate solutions with existing systems
• Track and recommend improvements for system performance
• Prepare technical reports for stakeholders
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in Intelligent Transportation Systems
• Professional Engineer registration with PEO
• Expertise in ITS technologies and industry standards
• Strong performance evaluation and problem-solving abilities
• Experience providing technical mentorship
