Position: AMD Hardware Engineering Intern Opportunity
Embark on a rewarding internship with AMD as a Hardware Design Engineer Intern. Based in Markham, Ontario, this role offers practical experiences in semiconductor design and verification.

Ideal for undergraduates or PhD candidates, this position will immerse you in design build processes for AMD's Machine Intelligence products. You'll work closely with seasoned engineers on tasks ranging from memory interface simulation to ASIC implementation, gaining real-world knowledge in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on physical implementation for ASIC designs

• Perform Memory interface simulations on advanced technology

• Engage in RTL design activities using Verilog

• Handle synthesis with a focus on power and timing

• Participate in checks and analyze design for testing

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or equivalent engineering program

• Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics

• Exposure to digital/logic circuit design methods

• Familiarity with software tools including UVM and C++

• Knowledge of UNIX scripting environments
