Become the Chief Engineer at GIP, guiding Temporary Works Engineering for transformational projects. Your technical expertise will help shape civil infrastructure within the GTA Construction Group.
As GIP’s Chief Engineer, you will embody the role of primary technical authority responsible for engineering governance and technical excellence. This position calls for an experienced leader with a strong background in infrastructure engineering, dedicated to maintaining quality and compliance throughout project execution. You'll foster a culture of safety and innovation while ensuring effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish engineering guidelines and procedures for quality control
• Lead reviews of designs for temporary structures
• Conduct risk assessments on construction operations
• Recruit and mentor engineering staff for future success
• Provide technical support during critical construction phases
Requirements:
• Minimum 15 years in structural engineering, 5+ in leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario
• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
