Controls Estimator II

Trane is seeking a Controls Estimator II to provide accurate project estimates and quotes. In this role, you will collaborate with Account Managers to develop detailed project scopes and ensure optimal pricing on HVAC controls. Your work contributes to creating comfortable and sustainable environments through energy-efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment

• Develop detailed scopes based on design-build specifications

• Conduct pre-bid meetings for project review and strategy

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage risk items

• Assist Account Managers in engineering and operations cost control

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years estimating experience

• Proven expertise in HVAC controls and building automation

• Strong knowledge of construction facets, including mechanical systems

• Detail-oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines

• Bilingual in English and French preferred
