Become a part of Multimatic's innovative team as a Structures Engineer in Markham, Ontario. This role focuses on FEA modeling, simulations, and enhancing design effectiveness.
The Multimatic Technical Centre is actively seeking a Structures Engineer to work onsite to deliver advanced design and simulation services. Daily tasks include constructing FEA models, performing engineering calculations, and closely collaborating with design and testing teams. Your contributions will help transform concepts into viable designs, improving our product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct FEA models and perform simulations
• Recommend design improvements and prepare reports
• Review specifications and collaborate with the design team
• Interface with manufacturing and OEM partners
• Adapt to new software tools and material characteristics
Requirements:
• Degree in mechanical, mechatronics, or automotive engineering
• CAE experience, ideally in automotive applications
• Proficiency in FEA tools like ABAQUS and LS-DYNA
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel when required
