Mecka AI seeks a Mechanical Camera & Sensor Calibration Engineer to optimize our calibration process. This practical role focuses on delivering precise calibration values and maintaining the reliability of camera and sensor systems. With significant responsibilities in calibration workflows, you'll ensure our data capture systems deliver high-quality outputs at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver accurate IMU and Camera calibration values
• Assess and enhance existing calibration workflows
• Own the entire calibration pipeline for multiple sensors
• Ensure factory calibration is consistently executed and timely
• Build and maintain calibration tooling and validation scripts
Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with camera calibration and multi-camera rigs
• Practical knowledge of IMU calibration and tuning
• Understanding of sensor fusion fundamentals
• Experience developing calibration tooling for production
• Willingness to work in China and speak Mandarin
This role will have a significant impact on data quality in robotics and AI systems.
