Location: Bruce County, Ontario
Rate: $65-80/ hr
12 month contract - with annual extensions
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Leader (PrEL) with Bruce Power experience for a mechanical design opportunity supporting ongoing nuclear projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Bruce Power processes, standards, and engineering requirements, with experience coordinating mechanical engineering activities within a nuclear environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport mechanical design engineering activities for nuclear projects.
Coordinate engineering deliverables, technical reviews, and design documentation.
Ensure designs comply with applicable nuclear codes, standards, and Bruce Power requirements.
Work collaboratively with engineering, project management, and other technical teams.
Apply knowledge of Bruce Power procedures, processes, and work practices to support project execution.
Identify and resolve technical issues while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Previous experience as a Pre-Job Leader (PrEL) at Bruce Power
.Mechanical engineering experience within the nuclear or power generation industry.
Familiarity with Bruce Power engineering processes, procedures, and design requirements.
Experience coordinating technical deliverables and working with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
