We at Coforge are hiring an Insurance Business analyst – Finance Systems with the following skillset :
- Key responsibilities include analysing and documenting business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritise system enhancements, and conducting gap analysis to produce functional specifications.
- The role requires interaction with Guidewire and mainframe constructs, understanding ETL transformations, and creating SQL queries in Oracle and Postgre
SQL environments. - The analyst must understand core accounting concepts such as P&L and balance sheet impacts, monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide user training and support.
- The ideal candidate has at least five years’ business analysis experience in finance systems within the insurance industry, with strong knowledge of insurance accounting and regulations such as IFRS
17, OSFI, GISA, Facility Association, and GAA. - They should bring strong communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skills, be proficient with tools like Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word, and have hands‑on experience writing requirements, user stories, process maps and data models.
