This role works cross functionally with all areas of the organization and provide value-added analytics and recommendations.
Acquisitions
Leading the completion of detailed financial modeling for acquisition opportunities, including synthesizing complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for the executive team.Overseeing the preparation of summary documents and investment memos required for Investment Committee submission and board-level approvals.Managing the end-to-end due diligence process, including the coordination and direction of third-party brokers and legal advisors.Driving deal documentation and transaction closings by acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.Building and maintaining strong relationships with operational leaders across business segments to ensure a deep understanding of the underlying business model and drivers of performance.Developments / Strategic Projects
Developing and maintaining comprehensive financial models to forecast project costs, timelines, and expected returns for development and major redevelopment/renovation opportunities.Monitoring the performance of active developments and strategic capital projects, identifying variances to initial underwriting, and flagging key risks or value-enhancement opportunities.Supporting strategic analysis related to the optimization and performance of the same-property portfolio.Integrations
Project manage internal resources working closely across functions – operations, legal, finance, people, IT, branding, payroll, finance to ensure that all different work-streams are aligned to meet the required schedule for integration.Directing post-acquisition integration financial analysis to ensure a smooth handover to the operations team.Track post-closing financial performance of acquired assets against underwriting.Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, and or mathematicsCPA, CFA, CBV and/or MBA designation or working towards one4-6+ years of relevant working experience in real estate, investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory.What you need to know:
