AVP GWAM Expense Management

Lead GWAM expense management at Manulife in Toronto through strategic planning, forecasting, and executive financial analysis. This position follows a hybrid work model.

The Associate Vice President partners with the GWAM CFO, senior leaders, Finance teams, and Strategy. You will oversee expense performance, reporting, governance, allocations, and controls. The role advances transparency, accountability, productivity, and decision-making across business units and regions.

• Lead GWAM’s overall expense management framework
• Direct annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and outlook processes
• Deliver consolidated actual, forecast, and planned expense analysis
• Oversee monthly expense reporting for senior management
• Lead expense transformation, simplification, standardization, and automation initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
• CPA qualification strongly preferred
• 10–15 years of finance experience
• At least five years in FP&A partnership
• Experience leading cross-functional stakeholders and finance teams
