Systems and Reconciliation Officer

Support Lakehead University’s payment operations through reconciliation, financial systems administration, and e-commerce platform expertise across campus.

This Accounts Receivable Officer oversees payment transactions, investigates discrepancies, and maintains accurate financial records. The position supports Touch Net, Global Payments, Ellucian-Colleague updates, and other payment system implementations. It also guides departments through payment procedures, testing, reporting, and system troubleshooting.

• Oversee and reconcile cash, card, cheque, and online transactions
• Administer Touch Net and Global Payments payment systems
• Coordinate departmental e-commerce website setup and testing
• Investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records
• Support software updates and new financial system implementations

• University degree in business, accounting, information systems, or related field
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
• Experience with financial, ERP, or reporting systems
• Ability to troubleshoot system and process issues
• Sound judgment, initiative, and attention to detail
