Use advanced Excel and financial modeling as a Senior Financial Analyst supporting transportation and inventory finance in Markham, Ontario. This full-time permanent role offers hybrid work.
At Pet Valu, the Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A Supply Chain Finance supports financial planning, analysis, and decision-making. You will work across Transportation, Logistics, Inventory Management, Operations, and FP&A. The focus includes forecasting, reporting, cost optimization, and working capital performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead transportation and inventory budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare month-end reporting and variance analysis for leadership
- Analyze transportation costs, rates, volumes, and shipment mix
- Monitor inventory levels, aging, turns, and carrying costs
- Develop financial models, business cases, and KPI dashboards
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- Three to five-plus years of relevant finance experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with Power BI and ERP systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and storytelling capabilities
