Position: Public Affairs and Outreach Executive Role
Drive impactful public policy initiatives as the Head of Public Affairs at the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco. Engage with stakeholders to enhance the Bank’s influence and operations.

This executive role entails developing strategies to lobby effectively for the Bank’s interests with policymakers and stakeholders. Collaborate with the CEO and Leadership Team to ensure that public affairs align with business objectives. Your extensive experience will be crucial in navigating complex regulatory environments while fostering relationships with local, state, and federal leaders throughout Arizona, California, and Nevada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of public affairs strategies for government engagement

• Engage with federal, state, and local officials proactively

• Monitor and analyze regulatory policies affecting the Bank’s mission

• Prepare legislative materials for the Board of Directors

• Oversee public affairs team and budget compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred

• Seven-plus years in government relations, especially in banking

• Proven network of political and community leaders

• Budget management experience with external consultants

• Strong strategic and communication skills required
