ABA Instructor Therapist – Ongoing Contract

Side by Side Therapy – Markham, Ontario, Canada.

Base pay: CA $25.00/hr – CA $35.00/hr

Job type: On‑Going Part‑time, Independent Contractor

Hours: Minimum 4 hours (2 × 2‑hour sessions) on weeknights after school or weekends.

Job function: Education and Training

• Implement sessions as directed by the RBA in accordance with the client’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP) in the client’s home or community.
• Apply feedback from the RBA (or delegate) in a timely manner to improve client outcomes.
• Record and graph data and notes required by the RBA.
• Arrive on time and prepared for all sessions with clients.
• Maintain regular communication with parents, other team members, and the agency.
• Other duties as assigned by the RBA.

• Possess a minimum of 6 months employment experience as an Instructor Therapist or similar role, implementing ABA procedures as directed by an RBA.

• Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Access to a reliable method of transportation.
• A College Diploma or University Degree in a related field.
• Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) course completion or previous registration as an RBT with the BACB.
• ABA/Autism‑related Diploma/Certificate.
• CPR / First Aid certification.
• Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention certification (or similar certification).
