Drive patient-focused care as a Specialized Hand Therapist at Oak Valley Health, where you will fabricate thermoplastic splints and guide patient education on injury management. This role supports a dynamic clinic atmosphere.
You will assess and treat patients with hand injuries, instructional in range-of-motion exercises while participating in team-oriented clinic functions. Candidates with a strong background in custom splinting and hand rehabilitation skills are encouraged to apply, as you’ll also assist with various specialty assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create thermoplastic splints for diverse hand injuries
• Implement and supervise range-of-motion exercises
• Provide patient education on managing injuries
• Collaborate on activities within the plastic clinic team
• Conduct assessments related to WSIB and MSK
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Ontario in good standing
• Experience with hand injuries and plastic clinics
• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with electronic documentation practices
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
