Position: Full-Time Social Worker
Join Para Med as a full-time Social Worker in Markham, Stouffville, and Unionville, focusing on psychosocial and mental health assessments. Serve clients and their families while collaborating with health care professionals.

As a Social Worker at Para Med, you will assess and address psychosocial, physical, and mental health issues in residential and institutional settings. You will work with diverse client groups, including children and adults with medical concerns.

Your role involves advocacy, resource identification, and treatment planning using evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments and set S.M.A.R.T. goals

• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of health care workers

• Advocate for clients facing health and psychological challenges

• Maintain detailed client records in compliance with regulations

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work with provincial registration

• Minimum 2 years of community practice experience

• Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

• Current First Aid and CPR certification
