As a dedicated Patient Support Assistant, you will collaborate with Registered Nurses to provide vital assistance in daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. Key duties include supporting bathing, nutrition, and mobility for patients, along with maintaining cleanliness in treatment areas and patient rooms. Your strong communication and organization skills will enhance the patient experience and team efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with daily living activities
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and treatment areas
• Support transfer and mobility assistance as needed
• Collaborate in quality management initiatives
• Stock supplies and manage linen for patient care
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized personal support worker certificate
• Current BLS certification
• Previous experience in an acute care setting
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift over 60 lbs and work flexible shifts
