Position: Personal Support Worker at Yee Hong

This role focuses on delivering compassionate, person-centered care to clients, addressing their physical, social, and emotional needs. As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you will be instrumental in aiding clients with daily activities, adhering to government standards, and following Yee Hong’s philosophy on care. You will work closely with diverse seniors and contribute positively to their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal hygiene and daily activities

• Support physical and emotional needs of seniors

• Ensure compliance with resident rights and care standards

• Maintain effective communication with clients and peers

• Document care activities accurately

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved PSW course in Ontario

• Experience in long-term care setting preferred

• Current CPR Certificate

• Registration with HSCPOA preferred

• Ability to converse in Chinese an asset
