Job Overview
Huawei Canada is offering a 12‑month contract position for a Technical Recruiter based in Markham, Canada.

Responsibilities

Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process and effectively attract, source, and interview candidates.

Implement sourcing strategies targeting niche technical roles and maintain a diverse, qualified candidate pool.

Conduct talent mapping and other activities to identify and target top technical talent.

Negotiate compensation packages with candidates and lead the offer process.

Administer the approval process and maintain candidate documentation best practices.

Consult with hiring managers to ensure timely, high‑quality hiring decisions.

Participate in career fairs, networking events, and other recruitment initiatives.

Engage in tri‑annual co‑op recruitment cycles and meet high‑volume interview and selection deadlines.

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience in sourcing and recruiting within the technology sector, with a strong focus on AI.

Ability to produce quality results with minimal supervision.

Positive attitude, team player, and strong communication skills.

Detail‑oriented and comfortable with multi‑step processes.

Passionate about talent acquisition and up‑to‑date on industry best practices.

Proficient with MS Office Suite.

Ability to support multiple hiring managers and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously with a sense of urgency.

Compensation
The total target annual compensation ranges from $48,000 to $94,000, based on 2,080 hours per year, depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
