We are seeking a dedicated and organized professional to join our Recruitment Team at Oak Valley Health as a Recruitment Assistant. Working closely with Recruitment Specialists, you will support various aspects of the recruitment process, with a primary focus on recruitment and selection.

Responsibilities include preparing job postings, screening applications, scheduling interviews, supporting selection panels, conducting reference checks and preparing offers of employment.

Responsibilities include:

Provide support to the recruitment team which includes posting/updating job postings and interview questions, and scheduling interviews

Provide general information to applicants regarding employment opportunities, status of recruitment process

Providing administrative support to the team Assisting in advertising of job postings on various sites

Provide support for job fairs, open houses and circuit interviews

Assist with recruitment for special programs such as extern program and student hiring

Participating in other recruitment and human resources initiatives and projects as needed

What you bring to the role:

Degree or diploma in Human Resources Previous recruitment experience preferred

Previous customer service and human resources experience, hospital experience preferred

Experience and or knowledge with an Applicant Tracking System and HRISExperience in a high pressure, fast paced work environment

Proficient computer skills using MS Office and social media

Current membership in the HRPA is preferredCHRP designation or willingness to complete

Excellent communication, critical thinking, interpersonal and problem solving skills

Strong multitasking and collaboration skills

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards

Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday 9-5 pm Please note schedules may change due to operational needs.

Compensation:

BAND TRange:$28.24 - $31.80
