Role: SAP Commerce Cloud Technical Architect

Markham, Ontario

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced analyst with a strong background in ecommerce and information technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with major ecommerce platforms and backend technologies, as well as a deep understanding of cloud native methodologies and containerization technologies.

• Extensive ecommerce experience and knowledge of the latest capabilities in the space.
• Proficiency in major ecommerce platforms such as SAP Commerce Cloud, Magento, Mirakl, and Punchouts.
• Expert knowledge of backend technologies like SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP S4, Elastic Search, Solr, Redis, MSSQL, MySQL, and Postgre
  
  SQL.
• Strong quality control advocate using industry-leading tooling like Junit, Sonar Cloud, Jmeter, and Webdriver.io.
• Proficiency in one or more major cloud platforms such as Azure (preferred), Google Cloud, or AWS.
• Deep understanding of cloud native methodologies and containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and associated tools.
• Applied knowledge of scaling systems and services, including microservice and distributed systems architectural patterns.
• Understanding of REST, Graph
  
  QL, and event-driven architecture principles and best practices.
• Experience with APM, distributed tracing techniques, monitoring, and logging tools like AWS Cloud Watch, ELK Stack, Open Telemetry, Dynatrace, Datadog, and New Relic.
• Strong understanding and application of oAuth2, Spiffes, and other Authz and Authn best practices.
• Competence in a range of programming languages and frameworks such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Spring Boot, React
  
  JS, NextJS, and Tailwind
  
  CSS.
• Knowledge of diagramming tools and methodologies like Miro, , Figjam, and Mermaid.
  
  JS.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.

• Experience in digital hybrid app development.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ecommerce solutions.
• Implement and maintain backend systems and cloud infrastructure.
