Overview

Job Title:

Production Support Engineer

Mode of Work:
Hybrid (4 days onsite)

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day production support for mission-critical applications and systems running on Linux/Unix environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Monitor system health, analyze logs, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues related to servers, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to determine how technology can best enable growth and success, ensuring scalable domain-driven solutions, operational resiliency, and adherence to best practices.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Able to critically evaluate and manage information gathered from multiple sources.
  • Proven competence in delivering and supporting large and highly complex projects. Proven experience with Databases.
  • Strong experience on Linux, Windows, SQL Server and Application monitoring tools (ITRS Geneos and Job Scheduler (CTRL-M), Stone branch, etc.).
  • Familiar with programming languages/scripting such as JBOSS, Java, DB script, Python, Shell, VBScript along with Middleware technologies and platforms (Ex., MQ and Solace).
