Position: AVP Cybersecurity & Data Governance Role
Shape data privacy and governance strategy as the Assistant Vice President of Cyber & Data Risk at Aviva Canada. This role combines leadership in cybersecurity with a focus on innovative data practices in a hybrid environment.
As AVP, you will define how Aviva manages data risk, supports regulatory compliance, and enhances cybersecurity frameworks. You will work alongside first-line teams, conducting assessments and leading risk reviews while strengthening data management practices. Your collaboration will also influence Aviva's approach to automation and AI governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead oversight of data privacy and cybersecurity

• Collaborate with teams to improve data governance practices

• Drive assessments and compliance alignment efforts

• Produce clear reports on risks and trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• 10+ years' experience in data management and governance

• Knowledge of legislative frameworks and cyber security

• Strong communication and decision-making skills

• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies
