Step into a vital support role with Qualcomm as a Technical Support Engineer. This position focuses on equipment installation, cabling setup, and lab maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualcomm is seeking a proactive Technical Support Engineer to assist the engineering team daily. You will be responsible for installing coax, Ethernet, and fiber optics cabling, along with upgrading hardware and software. Essential duties also include building equipment racks and ensuring lab organization and cleanliness as assigned.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily tasks in support of the engineering team
- Upgrade software and hardware regularly
- Install cabling for various network types
- Build racks and devices per project specifications
- Assist with lab moves and organizational tasks
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ year of technical support experience
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux OS
- Robust Python knowledge preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
