Join the team as a Freelance Data Center Technician in Markham, Canada.

This role offers on-site support for mission-critical data center infrastructure.

We are in search of an experienced technician for project-based or ongoing support. Successful candidates will engage in hardware installations, structured cabling, and troubleshooting tasks. At least two years in data centers or IT infrastructure is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hardware installations and migrations

• Execute structured cabling for connectivity

• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling

• Troubleshoot connectivity issues in real-time

• Maintain detailed documentation of all tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years in IT or data center roles

• Expertise in cabling (Cat5e/6/6a, fiber)

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs

• Own transportation for on-site work

• Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, CDCP preferred)
