Serve as the primary IT support for City and Library staff. The IT Service Desk Support Specialist role focuses on providing first-level support via phone, email, and chat for diverse IT needs.
In this position, you will handle support requests for hardware, software, and mobile devices essential to the City’s operations. You will also manage accounts, troubleshoot issues, and assist in maintaining the IT infrastructure. Ideal candidates are adept in various technologies and possess strong customer service skills to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level support for hardware and software incidents
• Log, track, and resolve service requests
• Administer USB security and handle compromised accounts
• Perform account administration for Active Directory and email
• Monitor end-user computing technologies and troubleshoot errors
Requirements:
• College Diploma in IT or related field
• At least 1 year of IT support experience
• Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems
• Knowledge of Windows OS and cyber security practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
